A New York woman has been jailed in Crossville for the July, 2018 death of a Cumberland County Woman.
59-year-old Diana Lynn Grosso of Otisville, NY charged with one count of Second Degree Murder. Authorities transported Grosso from New York to Crossville Sunday where she was booked into the Cumberland County jail.
The victim, Julia Meade of Crossville, was found dead in her home in July, 2018. She died of fentanyl toxicity. Authorities discovered she had traveled to New York around July 11, 2018 where she purchased drugs, allegedly from Grosso.
Grosso is being held on $200,000 bond. Special Agents with the Drug Investigation Division of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation joined with detectives from the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department on the investigation.
