No reports of damage after a small thunderstorm produced a tornado warning across Overton County Friday.
Overton County Emergency Officials report no damage reports or sightings of a funnel cloud. The National Weather Service issued the warning because of a small, tight rotation on radar.
Hail reported on Highway 111 in the Rickman area as the storm moved through.
Weather Service Forecasters said the rotation followed the path of the March 2, 2012 tornado that caused considerable damage in that area. Friday’s storm flared up in the area along the Putnam, Jackson and Overton County line.
