Crossville has launched a new website to highlight Cumberland County’s tourism attractions and businesses.
Chamber of Commerce Director Ethan Hadley said ExploreCrossville.com is an extension of a rebranding project that started last summer.
“We are working with Good Folks Marketing and Creative to do a branding exercise this year, and as a natural extension of that, when the CARES Act funds became available, we asked them to build upon the work they have already started.”
Hadley said CARES Act funding allocated for safe tourism made the project possible. Hadley said the site is mobile friendly and is designed for web search exposure.
“The goal of the site is to promote Cumberland County in its entirety, and everything we have to people who are looking to visit here,” Hadley said. “That is what the funding from the CARES Act stipulated is use the funds to promote tourism. It provided us an opportunity to take everything we have and out it in a fresh new package.”
When visiting the site, you can browse outdoor activities, commercial sites, restaurants and events. Hadley said he is most proud of the community coming together to promote the county.
“We have the businesses, the government, the chamber, other organizations that have come together with a single focus of positively promoting the county,” Hadley said.
