The trial set to begin Monday for former Putnam County Commissioner Jimmy Neal has been delayed until October 1.
The attorneys for Jimmy Neal requested the change. The judge in the case granted the move. The pretrial conference is rescheduled for September 23.
Neal allegedly used a social media account between June and August of 2021 to view explicit material involving underage people. Neal identified as an administrator of a group in the app, in which images of child pornography were viewed and shared by others.
