White County Executive Denny Wayne Robinson encouraging local industries to participate in a MTSU wage and benefits study.
Robinson said the survey is conducted every two years, so the university can provide a confidential report over a manufacturer
“Workforce and hiring good people is getting harder and harder everyday,” Robinson said. “This allows companies to see where they stand with other companies to make sure they are paying the appropriate wage and benefits.”
You can contact Robinson’s office for more information on how to participate. You can also find the survey by contacting the university’s business and economic research center. Robinson said participants can expect general questions about pay scales and benefit packages.
Robinson said participation also benefits the county in recruiting businesses. Robinson said he will receive a report that does not include business names that covers average payrolls and employee numbers that could be used for prospective industries.
