Motorcycle Crash Injures Two People In Putnam County

Two Sparta residents suffered injuries in a motorcycle crash in Putnam County Sunday night.

Authorities said the accident happened on Old Baxter Road.

53-year-old Michael Harrell and 47-year-old Dana Royal were injured when their bike ran off the side of the road and struck a ditch. The impact threw Harrell and Royal from the motorcycle and they received treatment at Vanderbilt Medical Center.

Their conditions remain unknown.
