Monterey’s Fred’s Pharmacy To Open June 29th

The new Fred’s Pharmacy will officially open June 29th in Monterey.

A company official confirmed the opening date Thursday morning.

The 16,000 square foot store will be located next to Dairy Queen and across the street from Volunteer Electric on Stratton Avenue.

Mayor Bill Wiggins said the town’s alcoholic beverage control board met in March and issued a beer permit for the new store.

The new Fred’s Pharmacy will also include a pharmacy with a drive-thru window.
