Monterey Save-A-Lot Expected To Reopen

The Monterey Save-A-lot is expected to open later this month, nearly a year after it closed due to a fire.

During a Monday night board of mayor and aldermen meeting, Mayor Bill Wiggins said the owners have informed him that they plan to reopen the business by February 20th at the shopping center on Elmore Street.

The business closed shortly after a fire struck the building in May of last year.
