Tennessee Tech named top public college in Tennessee by Money Magazine for its return on investment, one of ten schools across the state to make the rankings.
Only Vanderbilt and Rhodes College of Tri Cities ranked higher. Tennessee Tech ranked 27th among public universities in the the southeast.
The Money Magazine rankings showed Tech with the lowest estimated full price and the second lowest average student debt.
Some 700 schools nationally were included in the rankings which based data on 24 factors. The magazine graded schools on quality of education, affordability and outcomes.
