Two Cookeville residents suffered injuries during a single vehicle crash in Overton County this morning.
The injured occupants identified as 77-year-old Roger Mabrey and 82-year-old Mary Elizabeth Cowman.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 10:40 a.m. on Old Highway 42 just east of Highway 111.
Officials said Mabrey was the driver of a 2004 Nissan Quest that crashed as it topped a hill, ran off the left side of the roadway, and struck a metal culvert.
Mabrey was transported by air to Vanderbilt Medical Center and Cowan received treatment at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Their conditions remain unknown at this time.
