A Putnam County home suffered damage during a Monday evening fire.
The Putnam County Fire Department responded to 3642 Hilham Road at 10:52 p.m. Chief Tom Brown said the occupants of the home managed to escape unharmed. A cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Brown said firemen contained the blaze to a single bedroom.
