Monday Afternoon Crash Kills 18-Year-Old Crossville Resident

A Monday afternoon car crash has taken the life of an 18-year-old Crossville resident.

Crossville Police have identified the deceased as Dade Brown.

Officials said the accident occurred on Peavine Road just past the Old Peavine Road intersection.

According to a crash report, Brown was traveling southbound when his 2008 Mitsubishi lost control on the wet road, crossed the middle driving lanes, and crashed into a 2008 Toyota Tundra.

The Tundra was occupied by 68-year-old Gary Storer and 68-year-old Barbara Storer. Both are currently listed in serious condition at U.T. Medical Center.

Brown was pronounced dead at the scene.

Peavine Road at the accident scene was closed for over four hours late yesterday afternoon as officers investigated the crash and cleared the scene.
