Mission Already Planning Bell-Ringing Campaign

It may be August but the Cookeville Rescue Mission planning for December.

Director Kim England said the mission is already accepting volunteers for its annual bell-ringing campaign.

“That is our biggest fundraiser of the year and it takes a massive amount of volunteers to ring bells for 15-17 days during the holiday season and it makes up for about half of our annual budget too,” England said.

There’s two ways to sign up. England said volunteers can always call the mission at 931-528-5819 or they can visit cookevillerescuemission.org and click on the “how you can help” button. Volunteers can fill out a form online to sign up for the bell ringing.
