Putnam County authorities have arrested a Memphis man after he allegedly led authorities on a high speed chase.
19-year-old Kyle Gregory Teal is charged with reckless endangerment and evading arrest following Thursday morning’s incident.
According to authorities, the chase began on Interstate 40 near mile marker 285.
A report stated that Teal was driving a Suzuki Forenza when a Tennessee Highway Patrolman spotted him driving 86 miles per hour in a 65 mile per hour zone.
Teal allegedly exceeded 100 miles per hour during the chase before he eventually pulled over and was arrested.
He’s under a %7,000 bond at the Putnam County Jail and will make a court appearance on December 8th.
