Meet the Syrian migrant boy whose story became a portrait

Our series “A More Perfect Union” aims to show that what unites us as Americans is far greater than what divides us. “Communities In Schools” is a non-profit working across the country to provide struggling students with everything from food to academic support. For the last year, the group has also been empowering students through art that tells their personal stories.
