McMinnville Hosting Paint The Town Pink Event To Create Breast Cancer Awareness

The McMinnville-Warren County Chamber of Commerce host its “Paint the Town Pink” event Thursday to raise funds and generate breast cancer awareness.

Chamber President Melissa Mullins said the event will end with a town photo in front of the fountain. Mullins said it will show support for those who have survived breast cancer as well as those who continue to fight it.

“We want our whole community to just support those who have gone with the battle of breast cancer,” said Mullins. “But we also want to make awareness for it as well.”

Community members are invited to wear pink for the photo which will be posted on social media.

The Chamber partnered with Kirby Realty Group for the day-long event. The second annual event will include a silent auction and other ways you can donate to cancer research.

Showing up for the group photos and the events, as well as wearing pink around town throughout the day on Thursday will show the “heart” of the community, Mullins said.
