The Warriors will host a Titan Tuesday.
Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota will visit four area schools starting with White County High Tuesday morning.
WCHS Principal Grant Swallows said his school is ready.
“Obviously, a professional athlete of this magnitude, they don’t visit your school every day, so this is just a great opportunity they provided for us to kind of excite our community a little and from what I hear they are excited,” Swallows said.
Swallows said Mariota will speak in the school’s multi-purpose room and visitors should park in front of the school and enter through the main doors. The room will open at 7:30 a.m., he said.
The visits were planned by Saint Thomas Health, which runs hospitals in the areas Mariota will visit.
He’ll start at 8 a.m. at White County High, 10 a.m. will see him at DeKalb County High, then it’s on to Warren County High at 11:45 and Cannon County High at 1 p.m.
