Man Suffers Injuries In Lawn Mower Accident

A man from eastern Putnam County suffered serious injuries Saturday morning when he fell off a lawn mower and tumbled down a bluff.

Putnam County Rescue Squad members responded to the accident at a home on Pleasant Ridge Road around 7:30 a.m.

Officials said the man fell about 35 to 40 feet and suffered a back injury and severe right leg injury.

A tactical rope team helped lift the man, who was flow to Skyline Medical Center for treatment. His condition remains unknown.
