A DeKalb County judge has ordered a man to serve 10-years of probation after he pleaded guilty to a chop shop operation involving more than $200,000 in stolen equipment and vehicles.
Earlier this week 33-year-old Jason Douglas Stembridge pleaded guilty to theft over $60,000 and theft over $10,000.
Investigators discovered that Stembridge stole vehicles and equipment valued at $221,144. Officials said he would sell the items outright or dismantle them to be sold as parts or scrap metal.
