Man Arrested For Shooting At Sister And Assaulting Girlfriend

DeKalb County authorities have arrested a man who allegedly fired shots at his sister and assaulted his girlfriend.

33-year-old Nathan Joe Trapp is under a $10,000 bond at the county jail. Sheriff Patrick Ray said deputies responded to a Magness Road residence last week for a reported domestic dispute with shots fired.

When they arrived on scene Trapp’s sister informed deputies that that her brother struck his girlfriend in the head with a pistol.  She also told authorities that Trapp grabbed her by the neck, pushed her out the door, and fired shots as she fled the scene in a vehicle.

The gunshots did not strike anyone and Trapp will appear in court May 25th.
