Man Arrested After Assaulting Brother With Beer Bottle

Monterey Police have charged a man with aggravated assault after he allegedly struck his brother with a beer bottle Thursday.

22-year-old Edwin Agustin Baldemar is under a $10,000 bond at the Putnam County Jail.

Authorities said they responded to the Monterey Burger King where they found a man with a broken nose and bleeding from lacerations on his arms, chest, and forehead.

The victim led police to an address on Pruitt Street where he showed them a beer bottle in the yard and demonstrated being struck by it.
