Macon County Inmate Captured In Hartsville; Two Others Remain At Large

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has confirmed that authorities have captured a Macon County inmate in Hartsville.

Authorities said 19-year-old Dylan Ferguson turned himself in to Trousdale County authorities Thursday after he and two other inmates escaped from the Macon

County Jail Wednesday morning.

On Wednesday, the TBI added Ferguson to the Top 10 Most Wanted list. Ferguson was being held at the Maocn County Jail on charges on homicide, attempted escape, vandalism and arson.

Two other inmates remain at large. They’re identified as 28-year-old Matthew White and 32-year-old Jeffrey Strong.

Authorities said the trio allegedly dug a tunnel and and got out through a wall in their cell.
