Loose Cow Alerts Owner To Burglarized Property In Cumberland County

Cumberland County deputies responded to the 7000 block of Potato Farm Road last evening for reports of the burglary of multiple locations.

Property valued at $8,000 – including several antique items – was stolen from a burnt-out mobile home, a pasture and a church building.

The caretaker of the property discovered the missing items after noticing his cows had gotten out of the pasture through a cut-out section of fence.

An investigation is underway and several suspects have been identified
