Livingston Woman Dies In Two Vehicle Crash In Overton Co.

A woman from Livingston has died from injuries sustained in a Monday morning car crash in Overton County.

The head-on collision happened before 8:00 a.m. on Hilham Highway near Old Union Road. The deceased is identified as 62-year-old Patricia Burchfield.

According to a preliminary report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Burchfield was the driver of a 2011 Ford Escape that was struck head-on by a Chevrolet Silverado pickup driven by 29-year-old Abden Eicher of Lewisburg Kentucky.

Eicher and a 17-year-old passenger in his vehicle were flown to area hospitals for treatment. A passenger in Burchfield’s vehicle, identified as 31-year-old Rena Boswell, was transported to Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Authrities said charges are pending in the crash.
