Livingston Officer Airlifted Following Crash

A Livingston Police Officer suffered injuries during a crash at Livingston Municipal Airport Thursday.

Officer Jordan Danner was airlifted to Vanderbilt Medical Center for treatment to undisclosed injuries.

According to Tennessee Highway Patrol officials, Danner told state troopers on scene that he took his patrol vehicle to the airport runway to see if mechanical issues with the vehicle had been resolved.

During this time, the THP crash report said Danner lost control of the 2012 Dodge Charger. The vehicle left the end of the runway before coming to a rest approximately 250-feet from the end of the runway.

The 29-year-old officer has left the hospital and is now home recovering from a couple fractured ribs and a few scrapes and bruises.
