Livingston Hires New Police Officer

The City of Livingston has hired a new police officer.

Livingston PD Chief Greg Etheredge said Fred Stanfa will replace an officer who left for another agency.

“Mr. Fred Stanfa is a certified police officer and has moved to Livingston,” Etheredge said. “I really need to put somebody else back to work. He’s passed all of our interviews and background. He actually went to the academy with three of our own, so they did a little bit of recruiting for us.”

The Livingston City Council gave approval for Etheredge to hire Stanfa during last week’s meeting.
