Liquidation Auction Announced In Gentry Case

The former Gentry Bros. Tractor Supply inventory will be auctioned next month by the U.S. Marshals service.

Gaston & Sheehan Auctioneers website states the auction is set for 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26 at Gentry Bros. Tractor Supply. Pre-bidding runs from August 7-25.

Gentry Bros. Tractor Supply was closed suddenly just after Christmas. Owners Jeff and Wendy Gentry have been under investigation by the FBI since that time. At least three civil lawsuits have been filed, alleging the Gentrys ran a Ponzi scheme through the business. This week, the U.S. Attorney’s office announced Jeff Gentry had been charged with one count of mail fraud and one count of money laundering. He faces up to 40 years in prison on the charges.

Gaston & Sheehan’s website states the company regularly administers auctions of seized property for the U.S. Marshals service.
