LA Booster Club Trying To Raise Money Without Home Football Games

The Livingston Academy Fastbreak Club is trying to supplement its fundraising without any home football games.

Fastbreak Club Treasurer Bridgett Carwile said the club helps the basketball team cover expenses for tournaments and apparel. Carwile said July 16 the club is offering rib eye sandwiches to support the student athletes.

“There will not be any home football games, so that is our main fundraiser for the Fastbreak Club is the concession stands,” Carwile said. “So we are looking to branch out and try something different this year since we’re not going to have that opportunity.”

Carwile said that sandwiches will be on sale in the Livingston Academy parking lot from 11:oo AM until 2:00 PM. Carwile said that sandwiches can be pre-ordered by texting 931-397-7477 and delivery is available for large orders.
