Keisling Will Continue Advocating For District 38

Kelly Keisling will continue to serve as Representative for District 38 after receiving 88.8 percent of the vote.

Keisling received 24,775 votes while Independent Candidate Alexander Armor received 3,126. Keisling said he is extremely humbled to be able to continue to serve his district.

“First and foremost is just our daily and weekly requests for, we still have constituents that need assistance, TennCare and also unemployment, things like that,” Keisling said. “We’re constantly working and I am so blessed.”

Keisling said his priority is to address issues with the state’s wastewater testing systems as he returns to Nashville. Keisling said he does not take the win for granted as there is still much work to do.

“I will be up about 3:45 in the morning headed to Lafayette for the annual Macon County Senior Citizens Breakfast and then we have two other events following that,” Keisling said. “Yes, I could, many may do that. Many may just take a big deep breath and say, ‘Hey, I’m shutting down for the next month.’ But no, we love our district. We love our constituents.”

Keisling won the race in Fentress County by 88 percent.
