Jordi Case Bound Over To Grand Jury

A White County grand jury will soon hear a case involving a man charged with fatally stabbing his father earlier this year.

Judge Sam Benningfield on Tuesday found probable cause and ordered the grand jury to hear the first-degree murder case of Joshua Jordi.

Prosecutors have accused the 21-year-old of killing his father Timothy Jordi at his Washington Street home March 8th. After allegedly killing his father, Joshua Jordi returned to Mankato, Minnestoa where he was a student at Minnesota State University.

A TBI investigation in connection with the White County Sheriff’s Department tied Joshua Jordi to his father’s death.

Authorities arrested Joshua Jordi in Minnesota and he was extradited to White County in May.
