JCSO Seizes Drugs, Cash In Traffic Stop

Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies seized cash and pills recently.

According to a written statement, K9 Officer Ridge Long discovered drugs during a traffic stop on Highway 56.

In all, prescription pills packaged for resale and $700 cash was discovered.

The Sheriff’s Department believes the cash is the proceeds of illegal narcotics sales.
