Jackson County Chamber Seeking More Volunteer Help For American Made Music Fest

Jackson County Chamber of Commerce searching for some 100 volunteers to help with the American Made Music Festival.

Director Hope Vargas said after last year’s festival, organizers quickly realized that more volunteers would be a must for the next one.

“Ticket checkers, and backstage hands that need to readily available at all times between performances and trash pick up, and maintenance and all of these things,” Vargas said. “And truly a small group of people like what we had last year is just not enough.”

Vargas said they are relying on help from the community to make the festival successful.

Vargas said there are volunteer opportunities available for all ages and abilities. She said those interested can sign up for four-hour time slots starting from Wednesday, October 5th through Sunday, October 9th. All you need to do is go to the Jackson County Chamber’s Facebook page, click the signup link, and go from there.
