Jackson BOE Elects Chairman, Vice-Chairman For School Year

The Jackson County Board of Education selected its Chairman and Vice-Chairman for the school year Thursday night.

District Five Board Member Mark Brown was reelected as Chairman and was the only member nominated. District One Board Member Amanda Taylor was the only nominee for Vice-Chairman and was unanimously approved.

Board Members Mark Allen and Marty Woolbright were not present for the vote or board meeting.
