Inmate Found Dead At Overton Jail

Officials await autopsy results after an inmate was found dead at the Overton County Jail early Wednesday morning.

TBI spokesman Josh DeVine said authorities found 33-year-old Cheri Crabtree dead. Foul play isn’t suspected, but authorities are awaiting autopsy results.

DeVine said TBI agents began investigating early Wednesday morning at the request of District Attorney General Bryant Dunaway.
