A Putnam County inmate faces charges for allegedly damaging the sprinkler system at the jail.
Michael Raymond Jones will appear in court next month to face reckless endangerment and vandalism charges.
Warrants said Jones put the lives of 420 prisoners and personnel at risk when he broke the sprinkler late last month. Maintenance crews had to disable both the alarm and sprinkler systems for repairs.
Jones remains behind bars on $1,5000 bond. The warrants have his court date scheduled for December 16.
