Indecent Exposure Arrest Results In Drug Charges

An indecent exposure arrest has resulted in drug charges for a man in Cookeville.

Cookeville Police accuse 29-year-old Terrance Durden of exposing himself to juvenile females on Wednesday morning as they waited for a school bus.

According to a Cookeville police Department press release, as the two females stood waiting on the bus, a man drove near the stop and motioned for one of the females to approached the car.  As one of the females approached, the man exposed his genitalia then left the area in a silver car.

Cookeville detectives conducted an investigation and identified the suspect as Terrance Durden.  Arrest warrants were obtained on Durden charging him with Indecent Exposure.

The press release states that officers located and arrested Durden Thursday morning during a traffic stop near Prescott Middle School.

As a result of that arrest, police officials said officers found approximately one pound of crystal methamphetamine, ecstasy pills, a loaded handgun, and cash inside a silver Nissan Altima.

Durden faces charges of indecent exposure, possession of a schedule I and II controlled substance for resale in a drug free school zone, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a dangerous felony.

Durden remains behind bars under an $85,000 bond.
