A Nashville man injured Friday morning when his vehicle hydroplaned on Interstate 40 near mile marker 295.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to the incident around 7:45am Friday morning. 29-year old Nassar Oscar Dawson was travelling westbound in the right lane as he began hydroplaning. Dawson’s vehicle went into a counter-clockwise spin, leaving the left side of the roadway. Dawson’s vehicle went down an embankment, struck a rock bluff and began rolling.
According to a preliminary report, the vehicle came to rest on its roof.
Dawson suffered injuries in the accident. The extent of the injuries not known.
