How To Discard Live Christmas Trees Within City Limits

Need to discard that live Christmas tree that has served its life? Some municipalities will come pick it up for you.

Livingston Mayor Curtis Hayes said sanitation crews will continue to do curb-side pick-up Monday through Friday.

“Christmas trees, the smaller Christmas trees under eight foot, we will be glad to get,” Hayes said. “Anything over eight foot would need to be brought to the recycling center.”

Those in the Cookeville city limits will have similar options. Christmas trees can be included in brush pick ups by the public works department. That service will run daily for different areas except for this Friday.
