Clay County authorities on Monday arrested a man wanted for kidnapping a woman earlier this month.
Sheriff Brandon Boone said deputies arrested 57-year-old George Hardin at 11:19 a.m.

The arrest ended a manhunt that began May 19th after Hardin allegedly kidnapped a woman in Cumberland County. He was spotted the following day when his victim escaped captivity at a Celina convenience store. Hardin managed to elude law enforcement until his arrest Monday morning.
Hardin was on parole for first-degree murder, armed robbery and rape.
