A Cumberland County grand jury will meet one week from today to hear evidence against a man charged with killing a Crossville Police K-9 back in August.
Police arrested 28-year-old Dustin Dixon after he allegedly fatally stabbed the K-9 following a high speed chase.
Dixon is charged with intentionally killing a service animal, reckless endangerment, aggravated assault, DUI and evading arrest. If a grand jury decides to hand down indictments, Dixon’s case would be heard in criminal court instead of general sessions.
