A White County Grand jury will soon hear a case involving a Sparta woman charged with murdering her husband earlier this year.
Authorities charged 56-year-old Patsy Hensley with first-degree murder last month for allegedly shooting and killing 54-year-old Mark Hensley.
A joint investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the office of the 13th District Attorney General and White County Sheriff’s Department lead to the arrest of a Patsy Hensley on July 1st.
During a preliminary hearing this week, Judge Sam Benningfield found enough evidence to send the case to a grand jury.
