Jeff Gentry will enter a plea in his federal criminal case today.
The U.S. Attorney’s office in Nashville said a plea hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. today, with a press conference scheduled after.
The former Sparta businessman faces charges of wire fraud and money laundering. Civil suits filed against Gentry and his wife, Wendy, state they were running a Ponzi-type scheme in which they defrauded investors.
