Gainesboro’s School Dr. Shut Down Monday Due To Gas Leak

School Drive in Gainesboro was shut down Monday due to a gas leak.

Gainesboro Fire Department Assistant Chief Isaac Davis said a construction company had accidentally hit the line while working. He said the road was blocked off for about an hour while Middle Tennessee Gas crews worked on repairs.

Davis said there was no sign of any larger issues, and the situation has been taken care of.
