Frasier Hired As WCHS Football Coach

White County High School has a new head football coach.

Principal Grant Swallows has hired Mark Frasier to lead the Warriors.

Swallows said Frasier previously served as the head football coach for White County Middle School.

“He’s been a very successful coach. He was in Georgia for several years and won a state championship down there as a coordinator,” Swallows said. “He’s just a very valuable member of our community and we are so excited to have him on board as our head coach.”

Frasier will be tasked with turning around a program that has not won a game since September 23rd of 2016.

Swallows said Frasier was the right choice for the job because of his passion for the community and White County football.

“We know we have struggled over the last few years and we wanted to bring in somebody that has that fire and desire,” Swallows said. “We want somebody that’s going to come in and mold our young men in a positive way and we think coach Frasier can do that.”

Frasier graduated from White County High School in 1993 and previously coached at the school.

Frasier was introduced to the team Tuesday afternoon.
