Fitzgerald Collision & Repair will expand in Rickman and White County, bringing 220 new jobs to the Upper Cumberland.
Overton County Executive Ben Danner said FCR has steadily expanded in his county since it opened in 2015.
“We sold them 35 acres and a 50,000 square foot spec building and they’ve added 20,000 square foot onto that building and then they’ve added another 40,000 square foot building on the property,” Danner said.
FCR spokesman Rebecca Smith said the expansions represent a $9 million investment in the Upper Cumberland.
A few weeks ago, TCAT Livingston announced its new diesel program would be based at FCR’s facility. Danner said he hopes the new program and FCR’s expansion will lead more young people to stay in Overton County.
Established in 2014, Fitzgerald Collision & Repair provides collision repair for commercial truck fleets across the U.S.
