The Fentress County Commission has selected Michael Reagon to serve as the new sheriff of Fentress County.
Reagon will replace Chucky Cravens who resigned earlier this year amid a federal corruption investigation.
Reagon previously served as a chief deputy for four years and oversaw a narcotics division. For the past several months, Chief Deputy Gary Ledbetter has served as the interim sheriff of Fentress County.
Reagon was sworn into office at 9 a.m. today.
