Fatal Crash In McMinnville Saturday

A weekend crash in Warren County claimed the life of a Morrison man.

The accident happened Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Colville and Depot Street in McMinnville. Officials have identified the deceased as Jay Alan Webster.

According to police, Webster was driving a 1987 Harley Davidson eastbound on Colville when he was struck by a 2016 Toyota SUV driven by 69-year-old Kenny Taylor of McMinnville.

Officers said Taylor was crossing Colville Street northbound and pulled into the path of the motorcycle. Taylor was cited for failure to yield.

Webster died from his injuries at River Park Hospital.
