The Upper Cumberland Family Justice Center will expand next month.
Director Amy Stockwell said it was time to grow.
“We finally feel like we have a firm foundation in Putnam County and we thought the next natural move was Livingston and Overton County and hopefully so that we can better serve the victims who are in Pickett and Clay and may be a little more isolated,” Stockwell said.
The new office will be located at the Livingston-Overton Chamber of Commerce building on Main Street. Stockwell said they’d look for permanent office space in the coming months.
“The first time we’ll be open is Nov. 1 and initially we’ll be open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday at that location from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at that location, then we can expand the hours as needed,” Stockwell said.
Dana Looper will be assigned to coordinate the UCFJC efforts in Overton County.
