Cookeville -Virtual Celebration of Craft Presented By The TTU Appalachian Center For Craft April 10th from 10:00am-5:00pm . Celebration will be a virtual event this year with FREE hands-on craft kits for children and a live stream of artist demonstrations!
Craft Demonstrations – via Live Stream on Facebook    10a Glass Blowing, 11a Blacksmithing, 1p wheel throwing in ceramics, 2p fibers dying and 3p woodturning. 

Silent Art Auction – online  with artwork donated by regional artists that will benefit educational art outreach programming Offering free kits of materials with directions to create five crafts. Recorded demonstrations with directions are available online. 

Kids’ hands-on craft kits will beavailable at the Appalachian Center for Craft’s Gallery and the Putnam CountyLibrary Children’s Library beginning March 31; in Dogwood Park April 6-7, 4p.m. – 6 p.m. and  additional pick-uplocations announced in the Craft Center’s newsletter, on local radio stationsand on the Craft Center’s website at www.tntech.edu/celebrationofcraft. The Craft Center asks you to post images of itemscreated with the kits to Facebook or Instagram using #acckidscrafts.
