Cookeville – Veterans and First Responders Picnic Presented By Amvets Post 44 Cookeville
September 12th from 2:00pm to 7:00pm

AMVETS Post 44 is having a picnic in Cane Creek Park on Saturday September 12 for their members, First Responders, and other Veterans. Join them at Pavilion closest to the Boat Dock. While the park does not have any boats available feel free to bring kayaks, canoes or other boats as long as you do not bring any internal combustion engines. They will be cooking burgers and hotdogs and will be providing bottled water and some other drinks. You may bring a covered dish if you so desire. As seating may be at a premium bring camping or folding chairs if you have them.
